First Peoples' Cultural Council Details Community Consultations in Kelowna and Prince Rupert
/The First Peoples’ Cultural Council (FPCC) invites Aboriginal artists, collectives, and arts organizations to participate in a community consultation as part of the organization's Arts Program Review.
In addition to an upcoming online survey and select interviews, FPCC would like to communicate directly with artists, arts groups, and communities - the people the programs are intended to serve.
Feedback on FPCC's funding programs and the support they provide to artists and communities will be sought through a number of community consultation sessions. They are also interested in hearing community perspectives about which art forms are thriving, art practices that need additional support, any challenges impacting the arts in your community, as well as community members' ideas for addressing these issues.
We previously reported on FPCC consultations in other communities. Now, the Council has turned its eye toward Kelowna and Prince Rupert.
