Canada's Walk of Fame Searches for 'Unsung Hero'

Canada's Walk of Fame is accepting nominations for its Peter Soumalias Unsung Hero honour, which will award $5,000 to a Canadian whose outstanding work, project or volunteer efforts in culture, sports or the arts positively impacts their community and inspires the next generation. Winners will also receive a trip to Toronto to attend the 2016 Canada's Walk of Fame Celebration Events.

Awards:

• A one-time $5,000.00 cash honorarium
• Two (2) Experience Packages to attend the 2016 Canada's Walk of Fame Celebration Events in
o Two (2) Red Carpet passes and entry to the exclusive Pre- and Post Show Receptions
o Two (2) tickets to the 2016 Canada's Walk of Fame Broadcast Gala
• Economy airfare* and ground transportation to the event
• Two (2) nights hotel accommodation in Toronto
• Recognition at the 2016 Canada's Walk of Fame Celebration Events
• Recognition in the 2016 Canada's Walk of Fame Magazine
• Recognition on the Canada's Walk of Fame website, and on-line channels
