Touchstone Theatre Announces New Artistic & Production Associate and Interim Artistic Director

Touchstone Theatre has announced two new additions to their team: Amiel Gladstone and Naomi Vogt. Gladstone will assume the role of interim artistic director until Roy Surette takes over the position permanently in July 2017. Vogt will be the artistic & production associate for Touchstone's 2017 projects.

Gladstone is a West Coast-based writer and director who has worked for theatre companies across the country, as well as internationally in the United States, France and Romania. His recent credits include Onegin (Arts Club), Craigslist Cantata (Arts Club / PuSh), and East Van Pantos #1 and #2 (Theatre Replacement / The Cultch).

Vogt has worked with Touchstone Theatre, Rumble Theatre, the Arts Club, Mortal Coil Performance Society, The Cultch, and many other companies in various capacities. She is also a host of The Storytelling Show, a Vancouver Coop Radio program that features female storytellers. "I have worked with Touchstone in the past and witnessed first hand the remarkable competency and commitment it takes small theatre companies to operate smoothly, and I am so excited to return to assume greater responsibility and make a larger contribution, both as an artist and administrator," she says.
