Get Ready for Arts Day on the Hill on October 25

Arts advocates from across the country are invited to join the momentum on Parliament Hill for renewed support for our sector. Arts Day on the Hill, coordinated by Canadian Arts Coalition, is an important opportunity for artists, arts managers, and arts board members to meet with Members of Parliament to discuss the value that the arts bring to Canadian communities.

You can participate by making the trip to Ottawa on Tuesday, October 25 (register by October 11), or by taking part on social media.

Make the Trip to Ottawa

Members of the Canadian Arts Coalition are invited to make the trip to Ottawa to present the Coalition’s messages to MPs, senators and senior officials. The Coalition is seeking people who can speak convincingly about the value that the arts bring to Canadian communities and the role that federal investment plays. It’s also an opportunity to demonstrate strong national support by bringing representation from all across the country, as well as a diversity of language, culture and artistic practice.

If you plan to attend in person to meet with MPs, you must register to participate by October 11. Click here to complete the online registration form.
