Canada Council for the Arts Seeks New Members for Board of Directors

Canada Council for the Arts is reaching out for qualified, experienced, engaged candidates across Canada to seek new members for its Board of Directors.

The open call, which can be found here, reads, in part:

As stewards of the organization, members of the Board are responsible for the ongoing governance of the organization. More specifically, the Board must oversee the business conduct of the Canada Council, it must supervise management, and it must take clear action to ensure that all major issues that affect the organization are given proper consideration.

Candidates must apply online by October 24, 2016 via the Governor in Council website. Cover letters should be addressed to the Assistant Secretary to the Cabinet (Senior Personnel), Privy Council Office, and should be sent only through the online application.
