Registration for Standing Committee on Finance Presentations Now Open

Registration for participation in this year’s Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services public hearings opened on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. 

To register, contact the Parliamentary Committees Office by phone, 250 356 2933 or toll-free 1 877 428 8337, or by email, FinanceCommittee@leg.bc.ca, and include the presenter and organization name(s) and full contact information.

British Columbians are invited to participate in the 2016 budget consultations by attending a public hearing or by registering to make a brief presentation to the Committee in the communities listed below. 

This year’s consultations have been adapted to accommodate the fall sitting of the Legislative Assembly which begins on Monday, September 28, 2015. Conference call options will also be available.

The Committee is empowered to consider and to make recommendations on the annual reports, rolling three-year service plans and budgets of BC's eight statutory officers.

The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Government Services is one of nine permanent all-party committees of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia.
