Alliance Launches BC Culture Survey
/The Alliance for Arts + Culture is currently engaged in a comprehensive research project to improve and summarize the information available on the arts and culture sector and its impacts in British Columbia’s society and economy.
The project is funded by the Vancouver Foundation and partnered with Hill Strategies Research. It is intended to consolidate the information available through existing studies and reports, and address gaps in the data through new research, including a province-wide survey.
Your contribution to this survey is extremely important to the sector as a whole. Designed by Kelly Hill of Hill Strategies, the Survey of BC Arts and Culture Organizations will help to develop a better understanding of our sector, with detailed information regarding our collective workforce, audiences, and financial situation in the current environment.
The Alliance will use the results of this ground-breaking survey to strengthen its informational resources, policy work, and advocacy. This will help to build a more informed sector, and it will help the Alliance to better represent your interests.
The survey is primarily intended for senior staff or board members of not-for-profit organizations within the arts and culture sector. With financial information in hand, this survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.
Take the survey today at www.bcculturesurvey.com. Results of the survey and the entire research project will be published this fall.
