Participate in an Important BC Music Sector Survey - Deadline Extended!

Creative BC, with the support of Music BC, has commissioned PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) to conduct a sector profile of BC’s music and sound recording industry. The main objectives of this study are to: 

• Provide a meaningful snapshot of the music and sound recording sector and ecosystem in BC
• Establish a baseline that can be used to compare the size and success of the sector going forward, and   
• Identify actions that can lead to an effective strategy for growth in the sector over the next 5 years. 

Capturing the present state of the industry is critical in articulating the needs of the music business in this province. This survey has been designed to capture vital data at every level of the industry and gain a better understanding of the activities of the performers, songwriters, music businesses and organizations which make up British Columbia’s music industry. 

To date they have had close to 400 surveys completed - but more responses are needed. If you have not yet completed this short survey, please follow the link below.
