Legal Pitfalls Series: Privacy 101 Workshop

Privacy 101 is part of the Legal Pitfalls Series, a workshop series for non-profits by the Non Profit Charities Legal Outreach

The Workshop: Are you the privacy officer at your organization? You've heard about anti-spam – now let's look at whether your privacy policy and practices are PIPA compliant.

When was the last time you looked at your privacy policy? If it’s been while, bring it along to this workshop and we’ll help you update it. Learn what to look for and how to keep your organization PIPA and CASL compliant.

The Facilitator: Martha Rans is the legal director of Artists' Legal Outreach. She has been practicing law in British Columbia since 1997, and works extensively with arts organizations, not-for-profit societies, and visual and multimedia digital artists.
