Call For Nominations For 2015 BC Community Achievement Awards
/The British Columbia Community Achievement Awards celebrate British Columbians who go above and beyond in their dedication and service to others and who devote time and energy to making their communities more caring, dynamic, beautiful, healthy, and unique. They inspire by their example.
The awards honour people who have made a significant contribution to their community through a unique achievement or outstanding service – either as a volunteer or in the course of their work – in any area that provides a benefit to the community, such as:
- Arts and culture
- Business innovation
- Civic duty
- Community volunteerism
- Education
- Environment
- Healthcare
- Multiculturalism
- Sports and recreation
- Youth or seniors' leadership
Note that neither the nominations nor the awards are limited to these suggested categories.
Deadline for 2015 award nominations: November 15
How to submit a nomination
Complete the online nomination form or download the nomination form and submit it with:
- A letter describing the contributions of the nominee
- A brief personal history of the nominee
- Two letters of support for the BC Community Achievement award nomination from individuals or organizations that describe the value and impact of the nominee's contributions to his/her community.
Nominations will remain confidential between the nominator and the awards program.

The British Columbia Community Achievement Awards are presented by the British Columbia Achievement Foundation, a foundation established in 2003 by the province of British Columbia to celebrate excellence in community service, enterprise, arts and humanities.
