2015 Canada Winter Games Seeks Artists

The 2015 Canada Winter Games is seeking artists in a variety of disciplines to take part in a national arts and cultural festival as part of the Games in Prince George next year.

The provincial government is providing $150,000 to help BC performers from throughout the province take part in the festival, with a focus on artists from First Nations, Prince George, and the north central region. The event will provide the opportunity to tell the northern story to over 15,000 visitors expected at the Games plus many more watching the broadcast on television. 

Applications are sought from, but not limited to, musicians, painters, carvers, sculptors, actors, designers, producers, multi-media artists, filmmakers, writers, and street performers.

The Canada Winter Games take place February 13 to March 1, 2015.
