Call for Artists Description:
Squamish at Dusk is a new light festival in Squamish, BC. It features installations and immersive environments that share narrative and stories, and fun interactive pieces that create an illuminated playground. Following a pilot event in 2023, we are growing the event and wish to expand our roster of sponsors, creators and artists. While we don't have a large budget for artist honorariums yet, we invite creators, artists, fabricators, light artists, and anyone interested in creating light art, sponsoring an installation, or being a part of our future artist callout to fill in the form as we grow the event. Submit your artwork or information through our call for creators - https://forms.gle/HNnWN2dbBq3cWp8B9 . Deadline for this year's installations closes 20 September 2024 at 5pm, but we would love to hear from you for future events.
Fees/Compensation:
We invite in-kind sponsorship of building companies, production companies, and lighting companies. For artists we will provide a small honorarium where budget allows.
