Alliance Winter Workshop: Navigating Your Gaming Grant Application

Date & Time: Thursday, February 28, 2013 / 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Venue:  Alliance Board Room

The Workshop: In this half-day session, participants will learn how to write successful applications for British Columbia's Community Gaming Grants program and its 2013 Arts and Culture intake. The deadline for grant applications to this program is May 31. This workshop will provide an understanding of the particular requirements of the Community Gaming Grants program, along with valuable grant writing basics applicable to all funding programs. Participants are encouraged to bring applications in progress, or previously completed submissions, and will be given opportunities for one-on-one feedback following the workshop.

The Facilitator: Rob Gloor brings over 20 years of experience in non-profit arts management to his role as Executive Director of the Alliance for Arts and Culture. He holds university degrees in both music and business and has worked with organizations of all sizes in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.

Cost: Members $45 / non-members $75 (plus 12% HST)

Registration: Pre-registration and payment is required for all workshops. We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard or cheques. Call our office at 604.681.3535 with a credit card number or mail a cheque or drop off your payment in person at our office. Twenty-four hours cancellation notice is required to obtain a full refund.

Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel workshops if registration is too low.
