Chris Gatchalian Steps Down As frank theatre company Artistic Producer

the frank theatre company announced November 27 that Chris Gatchalian will step down as artistic producer, effective December 15. the frank will continue under new leadership, set to be announced in the coming weeks.

"I love this job and the people I’ve worked with, even when things have been crazy (which is a lot of the time in non-profits!). What has carried me through, day after day after day, has been the zeal and passion I and my colleagues at the frank have for the company’s mission: to actualize a vision of a world where sexual and gender diversity is accepted and embraced everywhere in every society, by everyone, by presenting and producing queer stories for live theatre," says Gatchalian. "Vancouver deserves an explicitly mandated queer theatre company it can be proud of, and, building on the great work of my predecessors Ilena Lee Cramer and Seán Cummings, I think I helped make that happen."
