MP Breakfast: Can Public Broadcasting Survive in Canada?

On Friday, September 26, the monthly breakfast speaker series MP Breakfast Connections presents MP Joyce Murray with guest speaker president & CEO of Knowledge Network, Rudy Buttignol, on the topic “Can public broadcasting survive in Canada?”

Rudy Buttignol has transformed and re-branded BC’s public broadcaster as a 24/7, multi-platform digital service with increased viewership and revenues. Before joining Knowledge Network he was TV Ontario’s Creative Head of Network Programming.

The latest cuts to the CBC once again bring the role of public broadcasting in Canada to our attention. Attend this event for a provocative look at where public broadcasting is today and where we need it to be.
