The BC Alliance for Arts and Culture Society and the Greater Vancouver Society to Bridge Arts & Community will be hosting their Annual General Meetings on October 17, 2024 at 12pm (PST).
Everyone is welcome to attend, but only current members will be eligible to vote.

Please note that BC Alliance Members automatically have membership status with the Greater Vancouver Society to Bridge Arts and Community.
The focus of the Annual General Meeting will be to review and approve the financial statements for the Fiscal Year ending December 31, 2023 and to hear from the Board and Executive Leadership on the business performance of the BC Alliance and Bridge Societies for that period.
The AGM will be conducted via Zoom.

Proposed By-Law Amendments
That By-law 2.2 of the By-Laws of the BC Alliance for Arts and Culture Society be amended to read:
2.2 REGISTRATION OF MEMBERSHIP
A person or organization may apply to the Society for membership and on acceptance of the application shall be a member. All members in good standing shall be voting members. The Society shall have the following categories of membership:
(1) Organization Member: Any organization that endorses the mandate of the BC Alliance.
(2) Individual Member: Any individual who endorses the mandate of the BC Alliance.
And that the definition of “Members” in By-Law 1 be amended to read:
“Members” means those persons or organizations that are, or that subsequently become, members of the Society in accordance with these Bylaws and, in either case, have not ceased to be members;
